A Little Night Magic by Lucy March

Product Details

Released 31/1/12

Olivia Kiskey is in love with Tobias the cook who works with her in the Waffle House she's been working in since she was a teenager. When her feelings are not reciprocated she decides its time to make decisions so she buys a one-way ticket to Europe, and announces her plans to her friends.

While closing up late one night Davina comes in to the Waffle House shows Olivia that there is more to her life than she ever dreamed. As Liv's latent magical powers come to the surface, she discovers that having an interesting life is maybe not all it's cracked up to be. The dark side of someone else's magic is taking over good people in town, and changing them into vessels of malevolence. Unwilling to cede her home to darkness, she battles the demons of her familial past and her magical present, with those she loves at her side . . . and in the cross fire. Can the most important things in life-friendship, love, magic, and waffles-get her through the worst that the universe can throw at her?

If you want something a little different that is not all hot and heavy sex but you don’t notice there is no kissing or sex scene until late because it’s a really good story then this is for you. I loved the characters and dynamics of Olivia’s and Tobias’ relationship and how everyone fitted together into the story seamlessly . It was refreshing to read a book that was a described as a romance but wasn’t based heavily on the romance itself.

I received this book via Net Galley

Review of Traditional Terms

Product Details

*Sequel to Traditional Love*

Coley is an Erotic Writer but has writer’s block and is just not feeling the scenes and needs to find Passion for the book for her characters and herself.

Coley ends up kissing her long time friend Vance but he lives a lifestyle of Domestic Discipline. She’s not new to the lifestyle as her brother and some of his friends live by it, but is it for her could she let someone spank her even if that person is her own dream guy?

Can she not only submit to the lifestyle, but to what Vance will give her?

I have a soft spot for Alta’s Alphas and I have been waiting for what feel like forever for the next instalment of this series and I wasn''t disappointed. This book may have been a novella and left me wanting more but it was because it was so good I didn't want it to end.

This story intertwines in places with Traditional Love which I thought worked really well. Coley's fiery character and Vance relationship was WOW and the sex scenes were scorching so be warned.

Review of Head Games by Cassandra Carr

Product Details

Consider the scene 2 hot Ice Hockey Players, Leo Laporte and Scott Schaeffer who are teammates on the ice and roommates off it. They also like to share their women.  (M/F/M)

Kelly Chase owns a bistro which Leo and Scott visit after their home games and they want Kelly. As the attraction grows, the men realise they want more than a one-night stand. Kelly's not so sure. Yes, she wants both men, but a permanent menage relationship? Kelly has questions. Can she believe in Leo and Scott's love? Will her business and her reputation survive once people find out she's with two men?

I’ve read quite a few ménage books but they were missing something for me but Cassandra had it all the angst and uncertainty of going into something that isn’t the norm, or accepted by society. How will it work? Could you cope with how people would look at you if they found out you were sleeping with two guys not cheating but sleeping with them together?

Cassandra covers every angle for me. You have 2 hot Alpha Athletes a woman who wants them both but is unsure and hot sex. I was tweeting with her when I started I this book and after I read the first couple of chapters I tweeted her and said you know I am going to review this and warn people to have a fire extinguisher handy as this book is smoking hot.

Cassandra is up there with Maya Banks if you've read her books you'll love this.
